Living it up have a range of storage beds that offer practical space saving solutions without compromising on style. These beds create plenty of extra room for hiding away belongings and free up floor space in the bedroom by eliminating the need for that extra chest of drawers.
Under bed storage can be added as an option to some of our contemporary wooden beds without changing the overall look. These beds already have a deep base that can easily be transformed and the design of the bed will remain the same. Our upholstered beds, however, differ greatly in each design so a new base will be added during construction to allow the correct storage depth whilst all the beautiful features of the headboard are retained. 
Not all of our upholstered beds can be adapted for storage but we have selected some of our most popular, stunning designs and our full range of fabric colours are available. The base will also feature two sets of sprung slats so you don’t have to compromise on comfort either. The storage system itself is extremely simple to use. Just a small pull at the base of the mattress will allow the hydraulic arms to take over, lifting the mattress to allow access to the space underneath. The mattress will be held safely and steadily until a gentle pull will enable the hydraulics to bring the base back down. No heavy lifting is involved as the innovative system requires very little effort before the hydraulics kick in. So with beautiful designs and an effortless way to access extra space, these beds are truly an asset to the home, particularly with the inevitable influx of guests around Christmas.
